Our next bicycle repair workshop is set for November 2nd, 2013 from noon to 3pm. Bring your bikes and skateboards and we will help you do some basic repairs. Flat tires, loose handlebars, we will tackle anything. All workshops are free and open to all.
About the Bicycle Repair Workshop
We are not mechanics or professional technicians, just regular folks that like to work on bikes. We have some bicycle specific tools that makes some of the more routine maintenance so much easier. Repairs are done on a first come, first served basis, however, we try to spend some time working on all the bikes that come through. Tools are also available for check out.
Getting to the Workshop
If the location or time do not fit into your schedule please send us a shout, we will do everything we can to make alternative arrangements. The most important thing is that your bike gets the attention it needs. If a different date, time or location work better for you, please contact us and let us know how we can help you out.
Replacement Parts and Supplies
We have very limited supplies and replacement parts, for instance, inner tubes. If specific parts are needed to complete the repair we can help you identify the parts needs and where you can purchase them.
We are accepting bicycles in any condition for use in our upcoming Bike Share program. Bicycles donated to the Bike Share programs will be refurbished and made available for use at little or no cost to a eager rider. If you would like to drop off a bike at the bicycle repair workshop or have additional questions, please contact us.
Workshops are hosted by Latino Health Access at Familias Corazones Verdes Park.
